Here’s my dark dirty secret – I’m a bit of a shopper. I’m a design nut, and a gadget freak, and my wife and I love window shopping. There’s it’s out – I’m definitely a consumer. Here’s another reason I don’t feel too bad about it.
I learned about Tom’s Shoes, like many people, from a Visa Card Commercial (though it might have been a cell phone commercial). They make these super funky, crafty feeling shoes. Here’s the rub, for every pair sold – they give a pair away.
Tom’s has given away 150,000 pairs of shoes to children in need, and aims to give away 300,000 pairs throughout 2009. So when you’re doing your Christmas shopping this year – think about who on your list could use some an awesome pair of kicks.
